Situated in the Highland landscape of Argyll, Sìtheag is inspired by its surroundings + our relationship with the natural world.

Part bookshop | general store | art space | coffee house | kitchen | bar, it is a convenient pitstop on the way to/from Oban + the Western Isles. On the path of popular walking + cycling trails, it provides a welcome respite for those on outdoor expeditions. It is also a great local hub, being a stroll across the fields from the nearby village of Taynuilt.

This welcoming Highland refuge invites you to relax, unwind + mingle. We entice you to shop; read; explore; quench your thirst; sate your hunger…or simply do nothing - idling is an art.

Sìtheag shelf display: Ola beeswax candle-making kit; Drummie Bee wool hotter bottle; Darach Social Croft candles; Gather British wool blanket: Seadrift hand thrown mugs; Olive wooden board

Along with a strong Scottish slant, the store sources items from all corners of the British Isles - Shetland to Cornwall; Guernsey to Ulster.

The kitchen is open throughout the day, carrying a simple, diminutive, ever-changing menu to reflect the unprocessed nature of our ingredients, with an emphasis on homegrown, local + sustainable.
